Ordem Paranormal RPG 2: Announcement, Playtest and What's Been Confirmed
On August 29, 2026, during the Segredos Revelados 2026 event, Cellbit announced Ordem Paranormal RPG 2 — and the official description came with a sentence that changes the game: a "completely new game, rebuilt from its foundations." This is not a numbered update of the current book; it's a different project.
The new version will have a stronger focus on investigation and horror, will be used live in the A Vigília special as early as October, and already has a free public playtest in two acts: A Maldição do Ídolo de Pedra. A Maldição do Ídolo de Pedra Is the First Playtest
The first official playtest of Ordem Paranormal RPG 2 is A Maldição do Ídolo de Pedra, an adventure in two acts released for free through the Arquivos Secretos, the official Ordem Paranormal service run by Jambô Editora.
To access it, simply log in or create an account on the publisher's website and look for the August 2026 package of Arquivos Secretos — the special delivery came out during the Segredos Revelados stream.
It's worth remembering what a playtest is: a test version used to evaluate rules. The material reflects the current state of development, so the rules may still change and should not be treated as the final version. A Vigília Will Be the First Campaign with the New System

The story takes place in the year 890, about 1,200 years before the contemporary campaigns, in a small medieval village in Ireland. The setting is also a test for the system: the rules will need to support a story far from the modern structure of the Ordo Realitas, without firearms, technology or the organization of the current seasons.
The broadcasts will be the second public reference for the mechanics — and the first showing Cellbit applying the new rules across complete sessions. Players, characters and episode length have not been revealed yet.
What Changes in the Rules
The main confirmed conceptual change is a stronger focus on investigation. The playtest already reveals part of the new structure — three attributes (Physical, Mind and Emotion), Health and PD bars and a 20-skill list — but there is no complete official list of mechanical changes: combat, sanity, rituals, progression and interaction with the paranormal remain without detailed confirmation.
The first concrete reference is A Maldição do Ídolo de Pedra. In October, A Vigília provides the second reference, showing the system in action with the master himself across three complete sessions.
When Will It Be Released? And the First Edition?
Ordem Paranormal RPG 2 still has no confirmed release date, price, pre-order or formats (physical book, PDF, special editions, accessories). Jambô also hasn't explained how the two versions will coexist: compatibility with supplements, adventures, creatures and the monthly Arquivos Secretos content of the first edition remains unconfirmed.
Until conversion guidelines are published, treat version 1.3 and the Ordem Paranormal RPG 2 playtest as separate rule sets. The playtest suits groups willing to try mechanics in development; tables that need consolidated rules can stay on 1.3 while following A Vigília.
